Online Giving day

UNICEF

If you’re on a fixed budget or timeframe, a one-day online fundraiser is one of the best charity event ideas for your organization. At their best, they rally communities, transform supporters into advocates, and raise money for causes. Sounds good, right?

Many desktop publishing packages and web page

First, choose a day that means something to your organization or those you help. Catalogue for Philanthropy made use of Giving Tuesday Now (a national fundraising day to support nonprofits through COVID) to hype up their own one-day giving event online. Unlike many other nonprofits, Catalogue for Philanthropy used the day to raise dollars for over 200 local nonprofits in their area.

  • Find a location and work with the town to organize event details.
  • File for a permit to block off the roads
  • Obtain city and police approval for the event
  • Include registration forms and waivers on your event page
  • Measure and map your walk route

Giving Tuesday Now’s marketing

With the help of Giving Tuesday Now’s marketing, Catalogue for Philanthropy shared information about their event and the many nonprofits it was supporting leading up to the event. They asked each nonprofit to create a fundraiser page on CauseVox, which allowed dozens of nonprofits to work together to share their unique missions and market an exciting giving day together.

To register for this event email your details to tuyennv@templaza.com

UNICEF

UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. The world’s largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill-building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.

Regent Porto Montenegro

The Castle was to become the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, King Henry VIII’s second wife, who became Queen of England for just 1,000 days. It was Henry’s love for Anne and her insistence that she became his wife rather than his mistress that led to the King renouncing Catholicism and creating the Church of England. Hever later passed into the ownership of another of Henry VIII’s wives, Anne of Cleves, and from 1557 onwards it was owned by a number of families including the Waldegraves, the Humphreys and the Meade Waldos.
